Elephant Trekking
Elephants have played an integral part in Thailand's history, both in military battles and economic development. They still work in some parts of the country not accessible by modern machinery. However, for the most part they are a reminder of the past. Only through public demonstrations of their grandeur can they now survive.

One of the most delightful experiences for guests to Thailand is the experience of elephant riding. While you may get the chance to ride an elephant in a zoo or a city theme park elsewhere, here at Suppraiwan Elephant Camp, situated 10 kilometres from Rain Forest Resort, you can ride an elephant and enjoy the scenery of the surrounding jungle, and also learn about their lives.

For those who want to learn more about the elephants, we also have a package for guests to become better acquainted with these giant and gentle animals, and have a complete one-on –one interactive experience while taking part in their daily life. Create your own extra special experience with this rare opportunity to spend time with one of the earth’s most magnificent creatures. Sign up for this program early as limited space is available each day for this rare and exciting opportunity.

This part of Thailand is famous for its national parks and waterfalls. There are also the World Heritage sites of Sukhothai and Sri Satchanalai Historical Parks.
